Hana Jušić was born in Šibenik in 1983. In 2007 she graduated from the Zagreb Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences. The same year she started studying Film and TV Directing at the Academy of Dramatic Arts where she is currently in the MA program. She made several short films: Danijel (2008), Uncle (2009), Smart Girls (co-directed with Sonja Tarokić, 2010), Chill (2011), Flies, Ticks, Bees (2012), Terrarium (2012). The film Chill was well accepted by audience and critics and was shown at such important festivals as Oberhausen, Chicago and Cottbus. Terrarium won the Golden Pram for Best Croatian Film in Checkers program at 10th ZFF.




 

Jožko Rutar was born in 1970. After graduation from the Faculty of Economics at University in Ljubljana he started to work as a producer of cultural events and performances. He worked with the dance Group EN-KNAP for five years as a producer of dance performances and films. In 2004 he joined Staragara Production Company and produced several feature, short and documentary films. In 2011 he was appointed by Government of Slovenia to the position of director of Slovenian Film Centre. He is EAVE graduate, member of Board of Slovenian AV collecting society AIPA and European Film Academy.

 

 

Alexandra Schmidt lives and works in Dresden, Germany. She studied sociology with a focus on cultural sociology. In 2010, she and two colleagues took over the management of the renowned International Short Film Festival Filmfest Dresden. In charge of programming for the festival, she has developed a variety of special lineups and retrospectives, including films from East Germany and shorts from Eastern Europe from the 1960s.
