Synopsis
A director is working on a new film. An acclaimed actor who he wants for the role of the ‘father’ criticizes the quality of the script and his choice for the role of ‘son’. The director invites the actor cast for the role of ‘son’ to join him on the island of Vis so they can work together on the script and on the character he is supposed to play. The director wants to find out if he made a good choice by casting him. Due to the island's isolation during winter, the two of them are unexpectedly faced with their own frustrations, which constantly intertwine with the film’s plot in a strange way.

Directors Biography
Nevio Marasoviæ was born in 1983. 'The Show Must Go On' is his first feature-length fiction film. It was also his graduation thesis at the Department of Film and TV Directing of the Academy of Dramatic Arts. He film won Golden Arena for Best Script and Golden Arena for Special Effects at Pula Film Festival as well as Breza Award for Best Debutant and Oktavijan Award. The same year, he directed and shot the comedy series 'Instructor'. In addition to directing films, Marasoviæ also makes commercial spots.
