Synopsis
The Youth of an isolated Island is trying to topple the Government that wants to join the island to the big Continent. Journalist and his wife want to help the Youth win the decisive congress but the wife pays it with her life. A pretty spy tries to win the journalist over to the Government side but falls in love with him. Having let down the Government of the Continent, the spy dies. The Youth leaves the naive, hippie-style method and comes into an open conflict with the Government.

Directors Biography
Matjaž Klopèiè (1934–2007) was Slovenian scriptwriter and director and one of the most important representatives of the auteur film in Yugoslavia. His most successful films include 'The Widowhood of Karolina Žašler' (1976 – shown in the competition program of Berlinale; won Silver Arena for Directing at Pula Film Festival), as well as 'Paper Plane' (1967), 'Heritage' (1984) and 'Fear' (1974), all shown in Cannes. For years he taught Film Directing at the Ljubljana Academy for Theater, Radio, Film and Television, where he was also Head of Film and TV Department and Vice-dean.
